Alex Lyons
BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTIGATOR, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & MACHINE LEARNING SPECIALIST
Alex Lyons is a technologist who specializes in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis. Since joining NAXO, Alex has supported a wide range of complex technical investigations involving crypto assets, cyber threat actor networks, and the dark web. His work often focuses on analyzing and synthesizing large data sets using custom-built tools that interact with internal and external data sources. Alex also recently spearheaded development of a suite of internal tools for analyzing digital evidence using on-premises large language models.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in artificial intelligence and a Master of Science in machine learning from Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science, where he focused on computer vision and natural language processing. While obtaining his degree, Alex performed cutting-edge research on a range of topics, including 3D model generation from video, RAG systems for querying local documents, image-conditioned text generation, and teleoperated robotics.
