Private keys controlling the minting of a cryptocurrency token were stolen and used to mint 1 billion new tokens, which, in turn, were then used to drain funds from a DeFi liquidity pool. NAXO experts analyzed evidence related to the theft, traced the relevant cryptocurrency transactions, determined where the funds were liquidated, and facilitated a referral to law enforcement.
